About

Carly Mann BA (hons.) is a mixed media artist from the South Coast of England.
Across a wide range of media Carly adopts a delicate painterly aesthetic, 
often characterised by limited light source, shadowy landscapes and use of 
evocative textures offering an other-worldly feel.
Through use of paint, pencil and glass the work is varied yet has a common thread 
and unity grounded in ancient history, symbolism and a mysteriousness that allows 
the person coming towards it to interpret it in their own way.


Since 2016 Carly has been travelling around New Zealand for 18 months actively 
creating and seeking new inspiration for her work.
